Product Engineer

Adrien Marvillier Adrien Marvillier · Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes · Paris

Tech Lead · discovery, experimentation, production

I build web products end to end: from the user interview to the prototype, from the prototype to production, then measuring what the feature actually changed.

A developer by training, I started on the front end in an agency, then joined two startups where Monday's release shipped what users had taught us on Friday. At Fabrique Numérique I supported the growth from 4 to 22 engineers, with accessibility and observability as the running threads.

I sit in on user interviews, slice the work with product and design, ship behind feature flags and read the numbers before deciding what comes next. I prefer small frequent releases to grand announced projects.

Adrien changed the way we ship. The design system removed weeks of repeated work, and accessibility went from an imposed topic to a team reflex. He explains without ever talking down, which is rare.
Camille D. · CTO, Fabrique Numérique · March 2025
Working with Adrien means always knowing where we stand. Technical trade-offs are surfaced early, risks are stated plainly, and releases hit their dates. I learned to write better tickets working with him.
Yanis B. · Product Manager, Fabrique Numérique · November 2024
With Adrien, a mock-up never lands alone on the developers' desk. He comes to the user tests, raises the awkward questions early, and often suggests a simpler version that ships in two weeks instead of six.
Inès M. · Product Designer, Plannea · February 2021
Adrien taught me automated testing when I was starting out. He takes the time to show the reasoning, not just the solution. Three years on, that is still how I work.
